When a
player is within 20 yards of the green, the fun begins. However,
many golfers dread this situation more than any other part of the
game. Obviously, this leads to a lack of confidence - thus the
vicious circle of failure and disappointment begins.
Why do players
struggle with their short game?
Too
many bits and pieces of information that don't lead to clarity of
purpose and, in turn, blocks creativity.
The
tool chosen for the job is not suited for the situation.
Standing too far from the ball and not choking down on the club
often produce "thin, topped, or uncontrolled" shots.
Keen observations of players with effective short games:
The
closer your hands are to the clubhead, the more control you will
have of the ball.
A
shorter shaft allows your arms to hang more freely and swing back
and through more consistently rather than up and down.
A
more upright hosel enhances straight "back and through" putting
motion for more directional control.
A
seven iron loft allows the ball to be carried on to the
putting surface while getting the ball to roll the same distance
as the carry. A wedge loft creates a higher ball trajectory
for those shots that require more height.
We
have designed our short game system to address this combination of
loft, upright lie, and shortened length that will allow your golfers
to take control of their short game. Our new See Jane Run and See
Jane Fly series are not chippers. This is a unique hybrid design
that will make these clubs easier to hit and encourage golfers to
use proper short game stance and form.
